Spitzkoppe Music Festival is an annual music event held in the scenic location of Spitzkoppe. It brings together artists and music enthusiasts for a weekend of live performances, camping, and outdoor activities.

The festival takes place at the Spitzkoppe Tented Camp and Campsites on the 2-4 June 2023. This location is outside of the Spitzkoppe park. 

Type 1 camping tickets are general access passes that grant you entry to the festival grounds and provide a camping space for Saturday-Sunday only. You are nor permitted to enter the festival site on Friday. 

Type 2 camping tickets are general access passes that grant you entry to the festival grounds and provide a camping space for Friday-Sunday. This is a full-weekend pass for campers. 

Yes! If you have purchased a Type 1 or Type 2 ticket, you will need to bring your own tent and camping equipment. 

No, campsites are allocated on a first come first serve basis.

We recommend festival goers travel in a 2X4 or 4X4 as it is a gravel road and there is a riverbed to cross. From experience, we have seen very small cars make it to our festival but using a smaller vehicle is at own risk. 

Only hard liquor is permitted as we encourage attendees to support the cash bar onsite. Strictly no glass is allowed on the premises and will be confiscated at the security checkpoint. 

Yes! You are permitted to bring your own food. We encourage festivalgoers to make use of and support the food truck onsite. This way you enjoy your maximize on your limited time there without worrying about cooking. 

There is no internet connection and our team encourages you to disconnect and enjoy the music and surroundings.

There are no specific restrictions on tent size, but please be mindful of the space available in the camping area. It is recommended to bring a tent that accommodates the number of people in your group without overcrowding the area.

Yes, the festival provides shower and restroom facilities for attendees. These facilities are typically located in designated areas within the camping grounds. We ask festival goers to limit showers as water is a scarce resource in Namibia. 

Campfires are not not allowed due to high risk of bush fire.

Desert weather conditions may vary, but typical patterns are very hot during the day and night in Summer,
while winter has very sunny days and cold nights. Make sure to check your weather listings before each event
and pack appropriately. Also always carry sunscreen and water with you.

We have trained emergency medical professionals on sight for the entire festival.
